As a Part-Time employee, you are eligible for the following benefits through the Bensalem Township School District:

Medical Health Care FSA: This benefit allows you to save pre-tax dollars in an account that can be used to pay for medical expenses such as deductibles, copays, prescriptions, and some over-the-counter drugs.The maximum contribution is $3,300 per year. You have access to the full amount on your coverage effective date. There is a $640 carryover with a 90-day grace period after the plan year ends to submit a reimbursement request. 

Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account: Like the Medical Health Care FSA, this benefit allows you to deduct pre-tax dollars from your paycheck and deposit them into an account. The funds in a Dependent Care FSA can only be used for expenses for children under the age of 13, such as preschool, summer day camp, before and/or after-school programs. This account can also be used for adult daycare, or home health care for a disabled spouse or elderly parent, etc. The maximum contribution is $5,000 per year. The DCA is a use-it-or-lose-it benefit, and unused balances do not roll over to the next plan year. However, there is a 90-day grace period after the plan year ends to submit a reimbursement request.

Employee Assistance Program: Your employer offers you an EAP program through Quantum Health Solutions, providing you with assistance on issues such as marital or emotional problems, stress and depression, legal and financial matters, anxiety, etc. Their 24-hour number to access these services is 877-747-1200.
