NEW Voluntary Benefits through Syemtra effective 7/1/2025.
Accident: Accident Insurance can help protect you and your family from the high cost of an accident. This benefit provides on & off- the-job coverage for injuries due to an accident, helping you pay the costs of emergency medical care, long-term rehab, and unexpected expenses. In addition to your medical plan coverage, it is paid directly to you. Coverage is also available for your spouse and children. This policy is portable. Critical Illness: If a serious illness strikes, the last thing you need to worry about is how to pay the bills: car payments, rent or mortgage, utilities, food, as well as uncovered medical expenses. Critical Illness insurance pays a lump sum cash benefit directly to you if you are diagnosed with a covered illness, such as a heart attack, stroke, or if you are diagnosed with cancer or any other covered illness. Hospital Indemnity: This will help you cover deductibles and copays in the event you experience a hospital stay. The benefit is paid directly to the insured. Bensalem Township School District offers two plans, Plan 1 and Plan 2. You can also enroll your spouse and children. There is no pre-existing condition or pregnancy limitations. The Hospital plan also has a $50 wellness benefit per person per year. Click here to learn more about the Hospital Indemnity Insurance Plan!
