Secretaries Part-Time

As a Part-Time employee, you are eligible for the following benefits through the Bensalem Township School District:

Medical Health Care FSA:

• The FSA plan year runs from 7/1 to 6/30 of each year. 
• The annual maximum election is $3300 per employee.
• If at the end of the plan year, an employee has any remaining funds, the plan allows a 90-day run-out period to submit claims incurred from 7/1 to 6/30. Any requests in the run-out period need to be submitted manually and not via your FSA card.
• After the 90-day run-out period, any remaining funds, up to $640 will carry over to the next 7/1 to 6/30 plan year. Employees do not need to make an active election for funds to carryover but please note that the carryover funds will not be posted to the new plan year until early Oct of each year. Any funds remaining over the $640, will be forfeited.

Employer Paid Basic Life and AD&D: As an employee of Bensalem Township School District, you are automatically enrolled in the Basic Life and AD&D, which is paid for by BTSD. The benefit amount is one time your annual salary up to a maximum of $20k.  Please update beneficiary information during your enrollment call.

Employee Assistance Program: Your employer offers you an EAP program through Quantum Health Solutions, providing you with assistance on issues such as marital or emotional problems, stress and depression, legal and financial matters, anxiety, etc. Their 24-hour number to access these services is 877-747-1200.
